In January 2025, a team of researchers from AUA (Greece), participated in a secondment that took place at the University of Tuscia (Italy) as part of MicroSOS WP1 and WP6 activities. During their stay at UNITUS, fruitful knowledge-transfer and science-related activities took place. Under the supervision of Silvia Proietti (UNITUS) and Ioannis Stringlis (AUA), visits were organized to facilities of UNITUS like Mass spectrometry unit, Electron Microscopy unit, Biophysics and Nanoscience Centre, High Equipment Centre. Seminars were given by speakers from AUA, having students and researchers from different labs of UNITUS actively participating and having the opportunity to meet the work of them. Besides, people from AUA had the chance to meet up the work of the team at UNITUS, attending their seminars, testing protocols in the lab of Plant Biochemistry and Molecular Biology that will be used in MicroSOS experimental activities and taking training in big data bioinformatics analysis. It was a successful exchange!
